Why?
This used to be a question I would try to elaborate on in hopes that my non-horse friends would understand how great it is to live on the road seeing this great country, meeting new folks with so many stories and working with horses on a daily basis. No matter what I'd say they could never see how that would be worth not having a home to come back to after work everyday or weekends off to relax and spend time with family and friends. One day as I was reading through a bible study before getting the day started, I read Psalm 145:4 and Deuteronomy 32:7. The 'WHY' that motivates and enables me to do what I do everyday, became much more clear and simpler.
He (God) tells us to share our stories, experiences and knowledge with others so together we can grow to be better, smarter individuals and communities. My passion is the horse and horsemanship. I could not think of anything better than trying to serve Him while also doing what I love to do every day.
Psalm 145:4
"One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts."
Deuteronomy 32:7
"Remember the days of old, Consider the years of all generations. Ask your father, and he will inform you, Your elders, and they will tell you."
